Mountain Home Ranch – Private Pond and River 6/17 Tyson, Andrew, Aaron

Tyson wanted to get his boys into fly fishing, and I had just the perfect spot.  Mountain Home is a combination of stocked trout in the pond and wild fish from the North Fork of the Big Thompson River.  We warmed up the morning on the pond, practicing our casting and catching, then went over to the river for a couple shots at the wild fish before eating lunch, hitting one last spot on the Upper Big Thompson on the way home, and calling it a great day.
