7/30 Ken and Ayden

We did a combination of pond, river, pond fishing on this 4 hour adventure.  We started off as the Aspen Ponds, Ayden caught a couple feisty fish, one of them leaped about 3 feet out of the air.  Then we went over to the Wild Basin entrance of RMNP for a little session of brook trout of both dry flies and nymphs.  Both Ken and Ayden got there fill of brook trout  in about an hour, and we headed over to the Meeker Ponds for one last fish.  We finished the day with Ken hooking and landing a nice Palamino on a damselfly nymph.
