6/27 Will and Sara

Will and Sara were pure joy.  There is a lot to know about a person that when presented with an opportunity to do something for the first time, or learn something new.  Some people are quick to jump in and start making mistakes and others hang back, watch, listen and learn.  Both Will and Sara were amazingly patient and excellent students.  The fish on the other hand, if they could just wait 1 drift for me to get a sample cast in before biting the fly, I could teach people how to get a good drift : )  We hooked up on the example cast, I handed Sara the rod and we almost got the fish to the net…that was a good sign of things to come.

After I finally got a practice cast in, Will made 3 casts I think before landing the first fish of the day, a nice brown.  Sara then took over the spot and 5 minute later she had a nice brown trout in the net.  We continued this trend throughout the 4 hours together.  Unfortunately, my camera ran out of battery, and I don’t have the picture of Will’s nice big Wild Brown Trout about 16 inches we caught next to a big beautiful rock wall.  That is the type of catch that a person will never forget.

I had a blast with you guys, please share the post on Facebook with your friends.
