8/30 Scott and Colin at N Fork of Big Thompson

Scott and Colin are from the land of 10,000 lakes and will now be catching fish on a fly rod in a couple of those lakes. We started the day off at the Mountain Home Ranch pond for a casting lesson, followed up with a catching lesson, then we hit the stream. We fished a variety of rigs, but as usual, the nymph rig ends up taking the most fish. There was a hatch of PMD mayflies, a couple caddis, and many midge. The fish loved chasing a streamer also.
