8/24 Boulder Creek with Jay

Jay came out with me a couple days ago and liked it so much that he wanted to do it again on something a little closer to home.  We went out for a couple hours on Boulder Creek after a mid day rain.  We had success on a small san juan worm in the deeper sections, and dry fly fished the shallower parts catching fish on bees and caddis flies.  I added a dropper to the dry fly near the end of our time and had success on a rainbow warrior.
